Guilty Rest…Is Not Rest
I started May off with the most Taurus activity possible. I went to the mountains to rest, soak up the peaceful sounds of the forest, receive delightful massages, reiki, and soundbathing with enlightened lightworkers in the Tennessee mountains.
Heaven!
Pour on the brakes for a minute. It wasn’t always this way. There was a time in my life when I wouldn’t receive this type of pampering without a truckload of GUILT.
The minute I would slip on my robe at the spa, a bag of old seafood-smelling guilt would pop up in my mind and start pouring out phrases like, “Who do you think you are enjoying yourself here? How do you think you deserve this?”
I’m done with that voice. That voice (aka Inner Critic) wants me to feel safe and not try new things or think new ideas. It no longer serves me. Buh bye.
My Inner Mentor now raises me up with thoughts like, “How amazing is this place! You are incredible and I’m excited to experience this abundance and pampering. What an opportunity to receive the special gifts of others. You belong here.”
You are worthy.
You don’t have to “earn” a vacation.
When we have a full cup, then we can serve our prospects, clients, employees, and especially ourselves. What a joy for everyone!
How are you rejuvenating yourself? Do you have plans coming up? Trips? Staycations? Please share below. I’d love to hear about them.
